"Tech" is now a fig leaf to hide the word "surveillance."

Every day we read the terms:
- tech bros
- tech broligarchs
- tech giant Google/Meta/etc
- tech investors

Think instead:
- surveillance bros
- surveillance broligarchs
- surveillance giant Google/Meta/etc
- surveillance investors

Clean air means less sickness.
Running the Blast costs just £8.60/week to keep the air cleaner for 600 pupils & 20 teachers!

Research also showed that HEPA filters cut illness-related absences by 20%. That means fewer supply-teacher costs… and potential savings of £218 every week for your school.

Not one fucking word from any quoted health expert on cleaning classroom air.

Yes, talk about vaccines, ofc that's important.

But there's something else we could talk about here: a measure that protects everyone but doesn't trigger endless debates on the choice to vaccinate.

Clean classroom air!

a sign people really want a feature and find it good is when companies make turning it off a 12 part process (firefox), require registry modifications (microsoft) or contact support to reveal the real off switch instead of their two decoy toggles (google) so they can claim people don't turn it off 📈

I disagree.

Infection control should adopt the "Rocket Science" approach.

Why? Because Rocket Science doesn't revolve around randomized control trials and "evidence based" medicine.

Rocket Science is based on physics, engineering, chemistry, math, public experiments and risk management.
