Ya it's transparently dumb. Literally people thinking there are millions of unrented but desirable homes and apartments that are secretly kept off the market because... capital/ownership doesn't like to utilize what it owns and collect rents / seek profits?

And even at the time it was ruled on, it still didn't beat out stuff like Bush v. Gore, etc. Yet to some on the left Citizen United is the only case that matters or exists.

Most of the worst and dumbest conspiracy theories on the left are about money/venture capital. Another one is that Citizens United is the worst SCOTUS case, and while it is a horrible decision it's not even in the top 10 when you have a SCOTUS that pulled a Judicial coup for a traitor.

Also I assume most case law on the criminal side (if any) is about lies and fraud prior to signing the mortgage, and not about term/clause violations that happened after the mortgage was in place which would be a contractual/civil issue and not a criminal one.

What is insane is that after J6, Biden and the Ds should have used J6 to rightfully destroy and dismantle the right-wing media environment. Yet not only did they fail to do that, but they sat around and did nothing as a Nazi MAGAt took over Twitter, even when Musk desperately wanted out of the deal.

So they are self / internally regulating (in that it's doctors/members, as opposed to politicians or voters, who define the standards and regulations), but that internal regulation is given the color of law via state legislation that set up and establish such boards.

Actually, many medical licensing and certification boards are quasi governmental. Usually allowed to internally set their own standards and regulations (many of which act primarily as market controll schemes) but established and backed by law/statue.

Lol, no, of course not, but also lol in that that is exactly what the AMA / medical licensing boards do. They are very restrictive in new med schools opening, existing schools expanding enrollment, and they even tightly control how many doctors go into each specialty and field.

No, it's the AMA, med schools, and residency system / spots. Which are all tightly controlled to artificially keep the supply of doctors low and wages high.

Lawyers, for example, have similar debt and years of school. Yet due to a much weaker market control scheme, public sector lawyers and public defenders often make well under $100k for years into their careers and can start as low as $60k. With non-big law private not doing much better than that.

Also Doctors have a much better market control scheme compared to other professions, which is why they are paid so much. It has little to nothing to do with the amount of debt or years of schooling.
