Saved a butterfly, possibly, from my sister's cats earlier. Saw them passing it around the patio, and I thought it was a leaf at first. Small Nephew said "LEAVE IT" but I argued that it's a late season pollinator. Wing slightly torn but gave it a chance.

Richard Briers said about as much - though not in the same terms - about the character.

I did a "Are You Being Served" watch last year, and actually, it holds up okay. There were I think two or three times in the entire run I went "Oh.... Oh no...." But surprisingly unproblematic for when it was made.

Rewatched some of the Good Life a while back and hoo boy Tom needs his head bashed in with a shovel and fed to the pigs

I'm kind of loving the new Mitchell and Webb, but with every sketch, I find I'm consciously editing and punching it up. Basically, what I'm saying is I'd love to write for it. I'd love that very much.

On the school run, googling the person whose Instagram was printed on the side of the fancy car he'd left parked on the zig-zag lines at the school gates.

I'd assumed drug dealer, by the make of car, but turns out actor and influencer. And, presumably, dad of a tiny child.

Love it, but I think the “Bom, Bom, Bom” bit might be misinterpreted as a bomb threat 💣
Post from Bethany Black saying: “The Oregonian Frogs are missing a trick not playing Paul McCartney’s Frog Chorus as their song, “we all stand together” is a perfect sentiment all things considered”

On the sad news of the death of Moody Blues bassist John Lodge, a reminder that 'Nights In White Satin' scans perfectly with 'Tights that I've shat in.'

I was there.

It was worse than you imagine.

People crowded around the 18" television for the blessed relief of Terry and June.

Last Christmas ITV showed the first Police Academy at lunchtime, which I assume lasted 35 minutes and was a miracle of editing.

Me: Who's my clever handsome boy?!

My clever handsome boy:
A white cat with black tail and forehead speckles with his tongue sticking out.

I was mercifully unborn then, but 1970s comedy makes the whole decade seem like a ten year prison sentence. Imagine having to laugh at On the Buses, Are You Being Served? and It Ain’t Half Hot Mum.

I always advise people that if they have any fond memories of the film Animal House, they will not survive watching that film again today.

It's not great now, but the 1970s was Gilead as fuck.

Watching 1970s comedy in the middle of the night, christ.

Women had it tough.

I know it's a privilege to be at this age, in this country, and in this situation, and I don't take it for granted, but I feel more comfortable with myself than I ever have done.

My sense of gender and self is ludicrously fluid. I don't feel dysphoria because I generally get to look and act like how I feel, femme or masc or, more commonly, a combo, and the people around me don't judge. I've finally rigged the body not to bleed, and can vary my hormone doses because menopause

-I've spent hundreds since I was about 12 to remove facial hair- I'm dark and moustache and beard have been an issue since childhood- except last night I was googling how to do realistic, handsome facial hair for Drag Kings. I have times I feel masculine, but times I feel femme.

Body is not gender

-had energy, but then hit puberty and then I was tired all the time, everything physically hurt, and blood came out of me a lot. Also got talked over all the time whilst simultaneously told I talk too much. All unpaid jobs are suddenly mine. Patriarchy is hell. Except I don't feel male either-
