Governments may be incompetent, but they're not incentivized to cut corners and costs.
Socialized Medicine works everywhere else.
Yeah, taxes go up, but your insurance payments go down, and everyone is covered.
What do the biggest, expensive hospital chains do. Do they opt out and only serve the rich ?
Who in the USA gov runs the program?
R U ok with having to see a primary care doc before you can see a specialist ?

I love Stardew Valley and think it's a better "game" at the moment, but Fields of Mistria just has a much better cast of characters. It's not done yet and won't be until next year, so it still feels like it's missing content.
But the characters run laps around SDV's.

It never really managed to suck me in like BG3, and I'm not sure why.

NOT BORING: Construing all Star Wars media as variously motivated propaganda which actually exists in some notional Star Wars universe, often only tenuously related to real events, and loudly speculating about what "really happened".
I was *stoked* when this was announced. It turned out to be my teenage self's first experience with the downsides of the industry.
It still has so much potential; it's a shame it's been left on the wayside.

I have another one doing a karaoke night.
I have a third one wanting to drive to a city two hours away for a social dance.
...Do I actually have an actual, real social life now? Is this what it's like?

So happy to be part of this wonderful creation! Huge thanks to my co-creator/co-writer/colorist and Armas’s creator @divaythfyr.bsky.social and to my letterer @alchememe.bsky.social for saving the day!
Now go read the comic to give Jahti (the raptor) some fish treats! 🐟

I've already plugged Darktide and Halo, but this is still one of my very favorite co-op games, and it's simply because of the chaos. Having friendly fire be on and giving lots of extra lives means getting blown up by your buddy's airstrike is funny instead of frustrating.

Fire Emblem in general, really. For me, the turn-based tactics take a back seat to playing matchmaker. I love turning my ragtag group of misfits into demigods, but that's not as important as making cute couples out of everyone.
Also, Edelgard did nothing wrong.

Gotta go with the late, great Tony Jay. He didn't need to have range; his distinctive voice is instantly recognizable. It oozes power and authority, making him a perfect fit for many iconic villains.

Halo: Reach was absolutely sublime from beginning to end, and I played a ton of this game's multiplayer. What I wouldn't give to go back in time and play it again for the first time during its heyday.
This was peak Halo.
