Anyone who works for or supports this agency in any way, including anyone who wants it to continue to operate in any form, is objectively evil. No coddling, no "walking a mile in their shoes," they're evil scum.
There is no level to which these heartless shit-for-brains won’t stoop to inflict cruelty and suffering.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

Anyone who actually does work: this sucks, this fucking sucks

People who don’t work: amazing shit, just amazing
Here's a chart to chew on: white-collar workers say that AI saves them little or no time, but executives think it's a massive timesaver. This divide between employees and management is going to influence the future of the workforce.

Minneapolis schools are closing because non-white families can't go outside and Senate Dems are like "ok but you gotta buy some body cameras for ICE"
Minibus is out. Democrats were able to include some guardrails in about ICE:
-restricts ICE to spending $3.8 billion of its annual budget
on detention as opposed to being able to spend $10 billion
-$20 million that must be used for body cameras 1/

I think about this a lot: the fact that it's "inconceivable" is a HUGE part of the problem. Hey folks: conceive of it. That's the necessary first step. This fascism is in fact happening, and the whole "I can't imagine" part is stopping a lot of progress in overcoming it.
"The Court finds it inconceivable that the Department of Justice, which holds a duty to faithfully execute the
laws of the United States—even those with which it may have disagreement—would repeatedly ignore court orders, while simultaneously prosecuting citizens for breaking the law."

Fascinated how basically in every country now rightwingers complain about "woke," using the english word or similar (e.g. "le wokisme"). When you think about it as a specifically anti-African American reactionary movement, you could say facebook's big accomplishment is globalizing the confederacy
It’s really hard to overstate the extent to which conservatives are now just the same type of facebook ogre in every single country with few or no other defining affiliations

Mamdani ran on three concrete promises representing an affordability agenda: free buses, free childcare, and a rent freeze. What is Schumer promising to do?
The pivot from "Mamdani is a political genius for focusing his message almost entirely on affordability" to "Schumer is a political moron for focusing his message almost entirely on affordability" is odd.

100%. If you want an alternative slogan you can go with "Abolish ICE before they kill again."
the only reason "abolish ICE" is seen as radical is that no one will say it but the far left. if every normie Democrat started saying it tomorrow it would move the overton window so far you'd have to squint to find it. my kingdom for leaders who understand they can shape public opinion.
Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
