I agree (as usual) with Jo here, that all of these different ET decisions demonstrate that FWS brought anything but clarity to the state of the law.
The fact it's currently 2-1 (Peggie and Kelly - Darlington) in the Employment Tribunals demonstrates pretty clearly that whatever else the Supreme Court delivered it did not deliver clarity.

(More to follow when we can find a copy of the judgment.)

A genuinely appalling response from the BBC, arrogantly contemptuous of the legal detail in favour of whatever misleading narrative their 'gender critical' friends have peddled them over lunch.
The BBC is nakedly peddling fake news - and refusing to apologise for doing so - in furtherance of its transphobic agenda. 🧵

It’s still easy to get Grok to edit photographs of real people into sexualized poses, despite X’s updated restrictions.

One of those quiet, incremental, good news stories that contributes to the ultra-long-term trend of the human condition getting better. Note also that in 2025, the small-but-early flu wave didn't do much to offset the progress.
The CMI has released its analysis of 2025 mortality in England & Wales.

Death rates for 2025 were nearly 2% lower than 2024, the previous record low.

Death rates improved (i.e. fell) for both sexes and in all age groups between 2024 and 2025.

Long and useful thread showing why the people constantly saying that the pandemic never declined based on waste water data are wrong.

COVID-19, since it emerged, has never been less of a problem than it is today.
I’ve written quite a bit about accounts like @michael-hoerger.bsky.social & @jpweiland.bsky.social who purport to divine the prevalence of covid from wastewater.

Why?

I think they’re selling an unscientific answer to a question science can't answer yet: How is the pandemic changing over time?

“More trials are needed!”
“OK let’s run a trial”
“Ha ha no”
Gender criticals treated the Cass Review as the word of God, and cast anyone disagreeing with it as dangerous/unscientific/not fit for polite society. But now the entire GC movement is united in opposing a puberty blockers trial, despite it being something Cass called for. They are not honest people

Incredibly important new study from Cal Horton @fiercemum.bsky.social - the first to look at England's post-Cass child/adolescent gender clinics. Dr Horton found patients and families are being actively harmed, with one young person describing appointments as "the worst thing I’ve ever experienced”.

Within trans youth healthcare two fundamentally different models of care persist, with a significant difference between affirmative and non-affirmative healthcare services. To date there has been l...

Writing this I had to look through Grok's mentions. Earlier I counted around 8 requests PER MINUTE featuring "bikini" and "her". Thousands of women and girls stripped each day. I found users stripping dozens of women per hour, from female celebrities to gym selfies.

The UK government may still be on X because they're very stupid.

There are around 19.5m families in the UK. Baroness Anderson claims here, on behalf of the government, that 10.8m = 55% of them "use X as their main news source".

This is an obvious lie.
