Competing co-opted business networks in a situation of economic decline align with competing military/political factions all aligned with regime, but with slightly different crony networks. The outcome in 2017 a coup in which one group manages to seize control. 2/3

On the contrary, austerity is liable in fact to increase the deficit - see the Eurozone's terrible experience during its crisis from 2010. The (proven) false theory of the "expansionary fiscal contraction".

Thing I just learned. “Lede” as in “bury the lede” is a deliberate misspelling of “lead”. It’s part of a lexicon of misspellings used for annotations by journalists and subs so that notes on copy are removed, rather than included in the body of the text by accident. Others include “dek” and “hed”.

The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.

This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester
