1) Her Story

This is a neat little mystery game, although the fact that I was years ago spoiled on the twist meant it probably didn't have the same effect on me as people who played it when it came out.

I legit thought that team was made up by the show because this was the first time I had heard of them

(needless to say I'm not exactly a football fan)

No son, they are not "magically delicious." The workers made them delicious. This is a slogan meant to mystify the social conditions of labor

A MAGA freak in Texas murdered his own daughter in cold blood after they had an argument about Trump.

A grand jury in the Dallas area then *declined to indict him*, and he has not yet faced charges.

Seems like many Texans believe a man has the right to kill his own child for disobedience.

Yeah, it's not an easy climb, but it's worth it for the upgrade you get.

The other one's like halfway up the mountain on the right side

Also do you have the Ascendant's Grip equipped? I found that makes those sequences WAY easier.

Also, real talk? I don't believe a single solitary thing that comes out of this administration, so unless it can be proven that these people were convicted of these crimes under non-Trump administrations or by state courts, I feel no obligation to believe any of these crimes were committed.

Hey y'all.

A South African dev released a blackity black game during BHM and it's currently getting the usual suspects in the reviews.

Imma grab this up myself anyway, but can we all be some chums and help push the racists out of the reviews? 🙂

Was trying to think of where I heard the name "Nyamakop" before - they're the folks that made Semblance, a neat little puzzle platformer where you had to deform the levels to progress. This seems considerably more ambitious.

"But law enforcement is not evil because we contained everybody and detained them until we sorted it out. That's not evil."

Narrator: It was, in fact, evil
"Images obtained by CBS News appear to show the zip ties and bruised wrists of Anabel Romero's 14-year-old daughter SueHey, a U.S. citizen who was tending to her 6- and 8-year-old siblings when the agents descended on the crowd in military-style gear and herded them into a confined area."
Feds zip-tied a 14-year-old girl during Idaho raid, sparking fresh questions about ICE tactics
A 14-year-old girl said she was "crying" and "struggling to breathe" when law enforcement officers herded her onto a racetrack with other detainees and zip-tied her hands.

This doesn't "spark fresh questions". It's the same question over and over: Why are we allowing this to happen?

There are no words to adequately describe the evil here.

Also, and this is less important, but subsistence farming SUCKS. It's a shitty existence of endless toil. It's only thanks to advances in agriculture that people have as much leisure time as they do now (even if it's still not much for the poorest people).

I'm confused as to the situation in Venezuela. As far as I know, we have nobody on the ground there, and the only change in government is that Maduro's VP is running things. So Venezuela changing policy is, I guess, just a reaction to threats of further bombings / kidnappings?

Todd Lyons, Trump's ICE chief, is testifying this morning in a House hearing.

Lyons will say in his opening remarks that ICE is somehow the victim of ICE's reign of terror and violence in Minnesota, not the immigrants too traumatized to go outside or the American citizens ICE/CBP have killed.

The Wall Street Journal just illustrated the core argument of my book: a system rigged to reward capital over labor is one in which even full-time work no longer secures the most basic material needs.

This is the economic order that produces the "working homeless."
