The secret to being old on the internet is that you can just... not do the thing. Could be ChatGPT, could be TikTok, you really truly aren't forced to join the site, install the app or watch the videos. I promise it's less painful than you think to kick FOMO to the curb.
one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I had the pleasure to meet Tanya last year and if anyone deserves a break from the universe, it's her. The universe doesn't provide, so we pick up the slack. They're a treasure and should be treasured.
So I did the thing before I chickened out (or came to my senses) and threw up a GFM as a stop gap measure. I hate doing it more than anyone will hate seeing another fund raiser.

Expensive chocolate isn't expensive cocoa, which does make a huge difference. 80% of global production are Forastero beans, they're hardy, high-yield and slightly bitter - unless you know exactly what you got, you got this one. And they're fine! But they do lose a little appeal in the 70% range.
Today's heretical opinion: Milk chocolate is better than dark chocolate and expensive chocolate is so very rarely worth the additional expense. Most chocolate more costly than a Lindt bonbon is a waste of money.
Also white chocolate is perfectly fine. Not real chocolate, okay, whatever. But fine.

In lieu of the film business falling apart, some people have been saying to write your "fuck it" script. I don't know if that was the inspiration for this one, but it sure looks like 100 percent, pure "fuck it" to me. Which is a good thing.

Those numbers seem a little odd, so what you want to do when you look into this is:
- find out who did the study and who paid for it, sometimes they're the same but not always - this is about potential bias
- look at the methodology - this tells you about potential bad math or bad design

It's a gimmick. They let the AI "develop" the drink - including recipe and design - but then real people fixed the mistakes. Like everywhere else, AI is pretty useless at this. What kills me is that this is a 100 old brewery. These people know their stuff. AI adds nothing.
