Cozy and exposed, the bold comfort. Not even adventure is ready to deal with that. Tried leaving the top few buttons undone on my spacesuit, tradition floated out and away, modestial voices guided it back

Honestly, after initial viewing I gave Zootopia 2 a B but upon reflection, I can't really forgive Judy's blatant disregard for Nick's feelings and inner fears and the film's conclusion ultimately backing it up. B-.

It is the return of the characters we came to know and love in the first film and the bayou sequence that makes Zootopia 2 watchable. I am not sorry I saw it, but wish it hadn't been weighed down by a convoluted plotline that felt like writers with very different visions had a tug-of-war with.

Judy Hopps is a righteous pain in the bunny tail and treats Nick like crap. When he expresses to her his deep fear of reptiles, it is brushed off as a joke by both Judy and the film as a whole. Worse, the plot ultimately exonerates Judy's terrible behavior, leaving me both confused and frustrated.

Zootopia 2 is a hot mess. Chaotic pacing made worse trying to keep up with a glut of new characters, mixed messaging galore and too many unnecessary interpersonal conflicts. Aside from Patrick Warburton's hilarious turn as a Stallion cross between Jean-Claude Van Damme and Fabio, it was pretty weak.
