Guillermo del Toro and Netflix have announced plans to form a new stop motion studio that will be both a studio and a school to push the medium forward and will develop plans to make Del Toro's next stop motion project after Pinocchio. I'm very hyped to see what this leads to!

So a brief glimpse into how stupid the company that provides my internet (Telus) is. We have 2 accounts at the place we're living (upstairs, and us downstairs), in early September we got a call confirming that the accounts were separate and have had no issue since then.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

Legit I am struggling with this now as I have an idea I think would KILL in comics but would probably be taken more seriously if I did it as a book.

Wish more people accepted comics as actual pieces of art and literature.

Comics/graphic novels aren’t recognized or taken seriously as literature in the publishing industry, despite taking twice as much work to create as prose novels, and it just breaks my heart.
