Folks, a pill to swallow: if current Democrats will cave to your healthcare, they will cave to your voting rights. If they will cave to you not getting paid for 40 days, they will cave to LGBTQ+ marriage. If they cave to stalling our airplanes, they will cave to destroying our National Parks.

They got cute and used Senators not up for re-election next year or ones that were retiring for the surrender vote.
So here's the metric we use instead:
If you aren't pushing for a new Democratic leader in the Senate *immediately,* you're out on your ass.

Read every word & share with everyone you know. This is real life here in Chicago. Americans need to know this grotesque reality & stand with us.
Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.
He is a computer safety researcher.
And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.
Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.
This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

I needed a new electric gooseneck kettle and found a deal on the Brewista Artisan (though maybe an older version?).
I'm pretty disappointed with it tbh. The interface is weird and inconsistent. Some modes, you have to re-press the power button to start it heating, some you don't. You can't ...

I am so here for Ms Rachel stepping up the way she has.
I feel like she is showing how easy it is to stand up and use your platform for good when you actually have a moral compass.

Don't forget that a major component of the shunning of vibrant colors has its roots in colonialism and white supremacy.
There are some great articles on the subject of chromophobia and colonialism. This one manages to summarize the idea fairly well: www.linkedin.com/pulse/chromo...

Social media and the parallel evolution of “cringe” has robbed the world of whimsy and color.
There were times not long ago when the absurd and outlandish could fire our imaginations.
Never forget what they took from you!

They're gonna get in ICE agents' faces, pull their masks down, then kiss them right on the lips.
Alarmed at how many of yall were so quick to believe cops would get into ice agents' faces.
Does that really seem likely?

Let's not get our hopes up. It's possible they had him do the MRI to see if all the stupid shit he says all the time has a pathological reason, only to find out that no, he just comes by it naturally.
I see MRI is a popular topic. As someone who works in radiology research, some of the most common reasons an 80yr old needs an MRI are to diagnose cancer, cardiac issues, or dementia.

Okay, when do we start the campaign for color-coding USB-C cables? Because I am TIRED of this shit already. Is it a charging cable? Is it a slow data cable? A fast one?
I swear I have some USB-C cables that will literally only charge one specific toy and ONLY that cable will.

We're doing a Costco sample table for our kids trunk or treat tonight. Because I am a dork and incapable of prioritizing my time, I made a Costco item tag generator in Vue (mostly I wanted to undercut the people selling what's basically a Word template on Etsy).

Tbh, this is probably best case scenario. That beam is oriented so it can only fire away from earth, so *shrug*.
Though, I could definitely see Trump blasting the moon for being brighter than him.
