The lovely moose was very generous in responding to my request for more information (to help my family dog) and has written this helpful and interesting thread on dogs adapting to eye sight loss 😊

This is our dog Nutmeg.

She will be 12 this month. She lost her eyesight gradually a couple of years ago. We knew she had cataracts from her milky eyes, but one day we realised they had got pretty bad. (How we realised how bad they had got is another story I will post on here at some point).

Oh! This might be an overstep, but if they are yours, would you consider talking with my parents at all? They have a fox terrier with significant eye issues who will likely need both of them removing, and they are very nervous about how he will get on. this is first fox terrier w/o eyes I have seen!

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.
