The Kansas bathroom bill applies to state government buildings. State Rep. Abi Boatman, a Wichita Democrat who is trans, was selected to fill a vacant seat earlier this month and it's believed this bill was specifically targeted at her. Disgusting and hateful.

I find myself thinking about how in 2 or 3 days Iran killed 20 to 40,000+ people, shot their own citizens, who were not armed, in the streets, and then went into hospitals to finish off the survivors

I read something that talked about how men started hunting because they didn't have anything to do around the homestead (in ancient civilizations). So because men couldn't be bothered to care for children and clean up, we now have agro men who still refuse to do their share.

A lot of the Male Loneliness Epidemic can be traced back to the fact that most cis dudes don’t participate in communal logistics.
I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂

I remember armed right wingers riding around my city in 2017. I saw police beat and and federal agents kidnap in 20-22.
Now ICE is in my current city kidnapping neighbors when they drop their children off. I watch them kill helpers in other cities.

My friend's 10 y/o child put up a bunch of anti ice / anti trump signs on her door today. Part of me is proud of her. The other part of me is so sore that this is what we are doing to children, even those that do not get kidnapped.
