Es acojonante cómo éste patán está repitiendo punto por punto la misma fórmula que empleó durante la DANA con Mazón. Deben de tener un jodido manual sobre “control del relato” en Génova 13 y no varían ni una coma independientemente del problema que haya que abordar.

I'm reminded of those ones that Theresa May had to go to but when the agenda turned to the Brexit negotiations she had to go and eat dinner separately, like being exiled to the kid's table at a wedding.
Now confirmed: the extraordinary summit of EU leaders to address the Greenland crisis will take place in Brussels on Thursday, 22 January.

It will start, quite unusually, at 19.00 CET.

What Europe and Canada need to do, months later than they should have done, is decide how to deal with a US that's an adversary not an ally, that has a predatory approach to them, and that can't be negotiated with in good faith. It's encouraging that France, at least, seems to understand this.

1/ Something which I don't think gets articulated clearly often enough is that a system where countries generally respect international sovereignty and territorial integrity is not pure charity or morality by the United States, but in its direct interests.

Despite it being the strongest bear.

Trump's latest tantrum is a sign he knows he can't actually invade Greenland - as he doesn't have support from the Senate or the military.

Obviously Europe can't trade Greenland away so they'll have to try and mollify him some other way or take the hit.

This leads me to believe that up until this meeting, Trump absolutely thought it was "hole milk."
Trump: "It's actually a legal definition -- 'whole milk.' And it's whole with a W for those of you that have a problem."

Yeah, I think this is the bit that isn't being understood fully om either side.

Their isnt any coming back from here. Even if we avoid direct conflict here, that trust and unity isnt coming back.

We'll all be poorer for it
It amazes me that so-called "serious folk" in the US are failing to realise that the next two generations of European policymakers are going to be incredibly more inclined towards anti-Americanism than any generation since the interwar era.

+ Bosnia, Albania & Kosovo, who are still in the UEFA play-offs.
