what the last decade has taught me is that when we say ”moderates” in Congress we aren’t actually denoting an ideological centrism but rather just someone who takes any sense of conscience or conviction they might have and dilutes it so much it essentially becomes meaningless pablum
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”
Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

I imagine the experience of a regular Fox News viewer is kinda like watching your online ads algorithm except instead of suddenly getting bombarded with ads for the thing you just bought you are bombarded with a retconned narrative when the previous narrative turned out to be a dud for republicans

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.
