Sure looks like Karoline Leavitt had her nephew's mother deported right before Thanksgiving as a favor to her brother.

Ok palate cleanse time. In case you missed it, here's my most popular post ever
4 yrs ago today, a family member managed a truly spectacular own goal, splintered his domestic bliss, & in the process, united the world for a day.

On popular request, I shall now recreate the livetweet thread from that day

So gather around children, for this is the tale of The Rice Truck Saga

I made butter chicken pies for dinner, eating it right now
* New Zealand takes pies (namely, handheld meat pies) so seriously that there are National Pie Awards that get major media coverage. The New Zealand National Library has a whole dedicated category for “Pies — Competitions.”

“NZ is like mainly two large islands?”
“Yeah”
“So you must have a good ferry link”
“Our ferries are old and break down often”
“So you’ve got big tugs?”
“Minister of Transport just cancelled the tug. Said it wasn’t needed”
“Oh I guess the water is pretty calm”
“Rough as guts. Sunk a ferry once.

Men are welcome to birth and raise all the children they like
really is incredible how often "men are having a problem, let's fix it using someone else's entire life" comes up. does the institute for family studies understand that children are whole complete human beings whose existence cannot be used as a coping mechanism for their fathers' anxieties? (no)

Millions dead from hunger and malnutrition. Billions wasted. Lost and wasted research. Compromised security. Shame on Elon Musk. Blood on his hands and a legacy of failure.

Blocking healthcare cause you’re anti disabled people/women/children/queer people is so sinister. It’s bullying and abusive behavior. Abusive people withhold resources. Straight up state violence against its own people.

The posts about the ban on puberty blockers for trans kids being a test for a ban on abortion rights don't sit right with me. Can we not just be opposed to the ban on puberty blockers for its own sake? Because it's wrong?

Mamdani: I've spoken about --

Trump: Just say yes, it's easier than explaining.

Little is taught about the murderous, incompetent dictatorship – and now almost one in five young people say Franco was good for the country, says historian Giles Tremlett

Despite, you know, everything, we banded together last night, and we all went to see Wicked: For Good to escape life for a few hours.
As good as the first half? No, because the best songs come early in the show, not their fault. Beautiful? Definitely. Relevant to our times? Undoubtedly.

I can confirm we are ready to do battle.
My trans daughter is literally in hospital right now, and one of her roommates is blasting racism and trans hate at full volume from her phone (between AI ads).
Shit is already dark.
If you have a young trans person in your life waiting for care in NZ... please please do what you can to lift them up.

Shits going to get dark.

(And check on their caregivers. They're probably not in a good way right about now)

There is a super-racist woman across the ward room blasting pro-Trump and pro-Israel videos. Like, the absolute worst of the worst gutter youtube clips. She keeps playing the same violent and vicious clips. It's so blatant and disgusting. We literally have to leave the room and have no space.

My daughter doesn't have cancer.
But she won't unaided ever again. She's only 19. She wanted to save the environment. She wanted to overthrow the government. She wanted to be a digital fantasy artist. Now she can barely swallow.

Christmas lights in the oncology ward tonight are trying their best. Like most of us, really.
The new nurse did say it was nice of me to stay with my sister, I will take the compliment. I have been wearing the same clothes for two days while Adi is incapacitated.

My 19yo daughter has been diagnosed with kidney failure, causing severe neuropathy in her legs and feet. She is no longer able to walk and has to spend about eight hours a day in ice water to raise the pain (not treat or manage, only reduces pain).
She is in severe pain. We can't get help. 1/3

The map in my original tweet shows the number of graves, not number of bodies. Andalucía, by some way, has the most in terms of victims. In mass graves as shown in this map or otherwise.
