I assume you don’t fire Franklin this early unless you’re really confident in the next step. For all Franklin’s game management faults things there aren’t many better at running a program and that’s 85% of the battle in college

Big 10 and SEC are miles ahead of everyone else in terms of depth. Miami might be the best team this year, but 3-12 in the ACC probably loses 80% of the time to its Big 10 or SEC counterpart
Michigan is getting beat up front. The edges are getting sealed and the line isn’t getting pressure quickly enough to offset USC’s passing. I don’t know about play calling but it sure seems like the players are getting whooped in a way we haven’t seen recently
The interesting thing now is a place like FSU might not be as good as a Big 10 job because the revenue won’t be there depending on how revenue sharing with the players works out.
