Absolutely! Confirmation bias is universal, a strong reason for pluralism in representation. My focus is on this paper as a research contribution. E.g. It *cannot* conclude there's bias on 'both sides' when the bias variable is defined symmetrically. Bias on just one side—>same exact quant result.

The scientific integrity of our public health system is under attack.

Elderly Americans depend heavily on care work, and our entire care work sector depends heavily on the skills and labor of immigrants.

When elderly Americans cannot get proper care, they are at risk of harm and even death. Regardless of their preferences about politicians or immigration policy.
