So I saw that story that DOGE cancelled Adobe Acrobat for DOJ and that's why we could copy/paste to un-redact that one Epstein document. But I did some research and it's not true. The cost cutting package from this past May included Acrobat Premium, which has the redaction/sanitize function. 1/

President Trump decided to veto a completely non-controversial, bipartisan bill that passed both the House and Senate unanimously. If this administration wants to make its legacy blocking projects that deliver water to rural Americans; that's on them.

It's possible the new policy will hurt Republicans since before the pandemic they were more often in situations where mail balloting was most convenient for them. Back then, Republicans exempted mail ballots from voter id laws because they didn't want to burden their voters bsky.app/profile/donn...

Prior to the pandemic, when given a choice to vote early, Democrats tended to choose to vote in-person over mail balloting. No reason why they can't do so again. The Democratic vote-by-mail states can offer more drop-boxes and in-person vote centers

This goes beyond postmarks. Every election cycle election officials reject hundreds of thousands of mail ballots because voters didn't follow proper procedures. This is disproportionately hurting Democrats. If you have an issue when voting in-person, poll workers can resolve it on the spot
