Ive sat in on DV response training courses 4 cops & they spent the whole time shooting spitballs at the ceiling, making jokes about abusing their own spouses, arguing w the presenter in a "less a question more a comment" way, & the women bragging they were even harder on hysterical victims than men

I think the brain drain angle is probably overstated, but we do have to factor in boycotts and other economic pressure from western countries going forward. I suspect the will to impose those measures will only grow with time

The only people whose opinion matters on this peace deal are the people of Gaza, many of whom are cautiously optimistic. It is hard to be genuinely hopeful as a Palestinian, but I pray that the ceasefire holds and that Israel does not renege on the agreement.

It is true you can't trust Israel or the US but you should probably be aware the ceasefire doesn't begin until Saturday or Sunday and Israel has a long history of intensifying bombardment until the official starting point of a ceasefire.
