Here's the 60 Minutes story the Trump regime did not want you to see.

It was accidentally posted to an international distribution network.

Now it's going to get more eyeballs on it than it ever would.

You know what to do.

okay so why is this post still up & account still existing? actual question. the account isn’t even verified like some of the other fed gov accounts either, but also it shouldn’t matter when they post “we will kill you” along with videos of them killing people.

Three things made the US a rich and powerful nation: the rule of law, its science & innovation system, and openness to foreign talent. Remarkable how Trump has taken a sledgehammer to all three. No enemy of this country could do more.

New, from me:
The Times published a piece accusing a man born in Africa as claiming to be African-American in a failed college admission.

They viewed this story to be newsworthy enough to grant anonymity to a eugenicist working with hacked personal data.

it's nice to finally have proof for what we all already knew: that transphobes have been corrupting the processes & institutions of the UK to enact a project to eliminate trans people from public life

"gender critical" lobby groups are engaged in antidemocratic subterfuge to erode human rights
The EHRC is meant to protect everyone’s rights. But internal documents reveal a different story: repeated meetings with anti-trans lobbyists, legal bias, and secret coordination. We filed the FOI. Here’s what we found.

FOI Exposes EHRC Bias: Private Meetings, Legal Echoes, and Policy Capture - Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective
Let’s be honest. The Equality and Human Rights Commission is not acting like a neutral regulator. It is not standing above the fray.

IDF soldiers have now themselves admitted they have been ordered to murder aid-seekers in Gaza.

Truly an atrocity built on atrocity.

We have a madman in the White House who is actively trying to trigger total war.

If Jeffries, Schumer, or any other Democratic leaders try to justify this, shrug indifferently, or write a strongly-worded letter and call it a day, they need to step down or be aggressively primaried.

There is no contributory negligence on the part of the living victim. Utah is an open carry state, SLC an open carry city. That's the law (stupid as it may be).

There is actual negligence on the part of your volunteer and by extension, on you as the principal employing the volunteer as an agent.

Hey there Scott Walker. I noticed you deleted this after learning that in fact the shooter was from the right. I don’t think it matters either way, violence is violence, so I’m waiting for you to tweet the same thing with corrected facts?

Cuz you’re uh, to use your words, “being silent.”

We have to all face the fact that people who voted for Trump are stupid. Every single one of them is a rube. I don’t care if they are related to you
I first met Phyliss Shobe, 81, at a Trump rally last year. She's such a fan she has a Trump shrine in her house. She's a good example of why Trump supporters remain committed, but also are often way more complicated than critics suggest. (Be nice to her please.) www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Cuomo already sounds defeated by Trump's authoritarianism.

I will stand up for our city of immigrants because I'm not funded by the very same MAGA billionaires who put Trump back in the White House.

Listen to this speech from the president of Ireland. The days of using baseless accusations of antisemitism as a rhetorical weapon to bully people into staying silent are long gone.

I’m horrified by the murder of two Israeli embassy staffers at an event in DC last night.

The fact that the gunman said he did it to “free Palestine” makes me nauseous. Murdering people for their nationality is never acceptable and this violence hurts Jews, Israelis, *and* Palestinians.

For the June issue of @thenation.com, I wrote about the Harper’s letter 5 years later, and how under a quarter of its signatories have spoken out about Mahmoud Khalil and other campus activists imprisoned for speech.
They All Signed the “Harper’s” Letter. Where Are They Now?
Many of those who were loudest in denouncing cancel culture then are now curiously silent in the face of Donald Trump’s assaults on free speech.
