Over-educated. Sci-fi/fantasy nerd. Was a huge hockey fan until 8/2015 (a Chicago team knows what they did)--"Heated Rivalry" currently challenging that distance tho. She/her.
gagged so hard on Heated Rivalry i went and downloaded 3 songs from it.

yes, i had "all the things she said" (t.a.t.u.) on my itunes at one point in 2005, but i don't know where it went and i'm getting it back!

The fourth episode of Heated Rivalry includes a needle-drop that evokes queer longing and desire like none other, and viewers are still reeling from it.

I missed the Harrison Browne cameo in the latest episode of #HeatedRivalry. Browne was the first public trans hockey player when he played in the NWHL. It's so very cool that Browne had a small role as a hockey player on Ilya's team! www.them.us/story/harris...

The moment on Heated Rivalry last night when the soundtrack switched from t.A.T.u.'s "All The Things She Said" to a dark British cover of t.A.T.u.'s "All The Things She Said." Screaming.

Huh. It's almost like when institutions stand up to that spineless coward fascist, he loses and folds. I sure wish more institutions would take note of that.
BREAKING: Seattle Children's Hospital successfully fought this summer to get DOJ's invasive trans care subpoena quashed.

The Seattle court partially unsealed the case this week.

This was the fourth, previously sealed case mentioned in this recent Law Dork report: www.lawdork.com/p/judges-doj...

We have now reached the point in the r/hockey Heated Rivalry discourse where straight men are recommending to each other that they suggest watching the show together to their wives, which is sure to spawn r/relationship posts from women confused by their husbands wanting to watch the gay hockey show

No, they specifically chose 8 Dems not up for reelection to end the government shutdown and side with republicans.

Meaning they are aware of mass calls to primary establishment Dems.
I don’t follow how ending the shutdown is a work around of the primary system, but we can’t recall federal elected offices.

It was debated at the Constitutional Convention and rejected.
I know that primarying Dems is the call to action for the moment, but why can’t we recall them too when they vote against their constituents wishes or ignore public outcry?

Their manipulation in ending the shutdown for a pinky promise shows them working around primaries.

AS A PROFESSOR, I AM ASKING

HOW ARE OUR STUDENTS SUPPOSED TO LEARN IN THESE CONDITIONS?

HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GO TO SCHOOL AND TAKE EXAMS KNOWING SOMEONE MIGHT JUST SHOW UP WITH AN EASY TO ACQUIRE AUTOMATIC WEAPON?

HOW??????????
Longer statement from Brown University:

"We are very sorry to share that we have confirmed reports of multiple shooting victims, but we are not able to share their condition. They have been transported to local hospitals."

one reason for the appeal of Gay Hockey Sex Twunks: The Series is that usually you can have main characters EITHER yearning for each other in a yet-to-be-fulfilled romance OR having really hot sex with each other, but this show has specifically engineered a way to do both at the same time.

A huge night for Democrats:

—They flip Miami's mayorship.
—They flip a state House district in Georgia that had voted Trump by 13%.
—They keep Albuquerque's mayorship, while the liberal faction flips city council.
—And they get big overperformances (+18 & +22) in 2 Florida specials.

CONFIRMED: Eileen Higgins, a Democrat, will be the new mayor of Miami.

She'll be the city's first Democratic mayor since the 1990s. She flipped the office from Republicans, and does so easily. She leads the DeSantis-endorsed Emilio González 59/41 right now with most ballots counted.

Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

NEW: It’s not just readers that suffer due to Harlequin’s mismanagement of the' Heated Rivalry' books. Reid misses out on royalties, & booksellers miss out on commissions—which is especially painful during the holiday season when many small businesses make the bulk of their money.
was ‘heated rivalry’ failed by its publisher?
everyone's devouring the new TV series, so why can't people buy a copy of the book the show is based on?

so, this right here? this is one of the absolutely most lawless, brazenly unconstitutional impeachable offenses ever committed by any president other than trump in the history of our country.

like, this is an open and shut case. and it's a case which targeted *republicans.*
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

So love wobbegongs. Everything is good about the wobbegong. Its name. Its flattened Oscar the Grouch face. Its frondy bits. Its lazy life as a hungry rug. And it’s a shark. Outstanding animal 10/10
The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

It’s been good to see Tierney jumping in and protecting the cast from those type of invasive questions. I know it won’t stop extremely parasocial people but it’s a step in the right direction. #HeatedRivalry
I'm also in a space of "if the end product is actually good... why am I getting mad?"

Yes, I would love more queer people in queer things, but I also don't feel like we have the right to demand every actor taking a queer role has to disclose their own sexuality to us?

And he was only able to do it because the sidewalks on this stretch are:

1) wider than most
2) there was an inlet for him to step aside
3) the sidewalks were plowed by SSA #8 (?)

Otherwise he’d have to shimmy past the robot or turn around.

A man with a mobility aid is forced to step aside because there is not room for him because the robot will not make room for a person (esp. those with a mobility aid who need addditional room)
