I know people have feelings and many of them are valid but one thing about visible speed cameras besides dissuading speeding is they never end up shooting the driver like our other method of enforcement does

as a fully committed flip flop to airports wearer, in my experience, if you look like me and don't get the shoes off in 0.02 seconds, TSA takes you for the "random bomb swab" and a long chat in a back room so I wear whatever is closest to naked feet and get the fuck past security fast as I can.

You don't necessarily need to say "image of" in your alt text for users to know it's an image. Screen readers will announce that it's an image. But it can help readers to specify if it's a hand-drawn image, Polaroid, infographic, screenshot, chart, map, diagram, or so on.
