I’m working SO HARD on this, a competitive FPS/RTS hybrid mod for Doom 2, and I’d really appreciate if you followed the page for updates and the occasional stupid meme. In April I’ll be running a Hero Tournament to see who is the best duelist!
Real talk, super tired, not coding more this weekend. BUT 1.33 rounds of Talents is a massive victory. Favorite one from this weekend is really a reskin of the Wendigo’s blizzard, but it looks cool as hell anyway. It’s an AOE attack the Mother Demon can cast called Firestorm (of course).

If nothing else, please come out the other side of this with a new appreciation for socialism. Letting 100 guys hold all the money and letting them decide what it's for is gonna get us toys that don't work instead of food or stability. You kinda gotta force that money to be spent on our own needs.

I think people are mistaken in saying "oh no, people will starve!" and I don't think that's what is going to happen at all. People will eat. But a lot of rent and car payments and other things will go unpaid, and then we'll all find out it isn't only poor people living "paycheck to paycheck."

One of the best things I came up with in the original ZDoom Wars was portraying flemoids as what they are: extra-dimensional horrors, the endless tide set to sweep away civilization. I mean, canonically they’re immune to conventional weapons! They never need to stop trying to invade! Lovecraftian.🧵
