ICE is still abducting people. ICE is still arresting peaceful observers. ICE is still gassing people. ICE is still showing up at grade schools.

Families in hiding and defiant observers: What it’s like in Minneapolis in wake of Bovino’s exit and immigration ‘draw down’ | CNN
Even with the so-called “drawdown,” many Minneapolis area activists say little has changed since hundreds of agents left and they’re preparing for prolonged resistance. The anxiety remains palpable af...

Everyone on here wants to make it about one person, but there have been lots of media reports about ICE observing. But it’s just not that interesting once it’s demystified. The bigger issue is no one on the ground can tell the mutual aid side of the story because it risks vulnerable people’s lives.
Trying not to put on my tin foil hat here, but if your strategy was to get the media to think you’d toned it down while actually going harder against the observers, a tactic you’d deploy would be to use a fifth column to divide the observers and box out the press, under a left-coded pretext.

What the fuck are you talking about? Nothing here had indicated riots or destruction. This is some piss-poor, lazy-ass “journalism”. You should be ashamed, Clara.
Friends in Minneapolis are very worried about this development. Both in terms of state police's role in arresting protestors and the worry that this could set off the kind of spiral of distrust and destruction that followed George Floyd's murder.

So THE ONLY PEOPLE HOLDING THIS ADMINISTRATION TO ACCOUNT were ON CAMERA while arrested at gun point for no legit reason.

It isn't body cams, this shit show can't be reformed. Abolish DHS. Tribunals for every one of this shitheads.
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Professional athletes are being advised not to leave the hotel or go anywhere without their passports while visiting Minnesota.

This is not a country that can safely host international events like the World Cup.

Boycotting is not even a political question anymore. It is a basic issue of safety.
The Montreal Canadiens are playing the Minnesota Wild in Minneapolis tonight. The players have been recommended to stay in/eat at the hotel, take the team bus to the arena, and carry passports.

Perhaps we shouldn't be hosting the World Cup and the Olympics...

You’re describing an emergency. The world is also watching you and waiting for you to do something.

Are you going to establish an eviction moratorium? Rent is due today.
They’re taking kids from Minnesota and sending them to detention camps. They’re shooting American citizens in the street and locking investigators out of the crime scenes. The world is watching what happens next.
Hundreds of people spelled out the distress signal "SOS" on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis on Friday, Jan. 30.

A cabal of pedophiles conspired to destroy the US government from within by seeding fascist ideas into online forums, spreading conspiracy theories about the opposition based on their own actions, and devised an alternative currency to upend the global economy. If Walz announced we were seceding I might actually like him again
Emmer: "Tim Walz has sounded like Jefferson Davis seceding from the union, and Jacob Frey sounds like he's giving his declaration of war speech. This is what is causing the problem."

Tim Walz is ideologically to the right of George Will
"Today, it is more than prudent, it is good citizenship to assume that everything ICE says, and everything the administration says in support of its deportation mania, is untrue until proved to be otherwise."

The latest from George F. Will:
Opinion | Assume this loutocracy is lying about ICE until proven otherwise
Kristi Noem isn’t the only reason millions of Americans increasingly distrust the deportation mania.

just bc they (might) leave MN, doesn't mean we want our senators to capitulate on this funding -- too easy to see Schumer be like "Oh, they left, ok cool let's vote!" so let's all keep calling reps.fyi

Bovino out is the first win. It is not our last.

Another shutdown Friday in MN.
National Day of Action Saturday.
Keep calling your senators to kill DHS funding.
Exactly right.

Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign.

Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.

Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.

Every possible angle.
They are wounded and flailing. Press the advantage.

Call your goddamn Dem Senator and tell them you will never vote for them again if they do not shut the government down over this.

If you have a republican, call them and call them fucking cowards.
