The kids are all right.
I just sniped a kid in Overwatch and he wrote "ohhh Kirked me" and I just found out they're using that as shorthand for a good snipe HOLY SHIT LOL

I got a Hillbilly Elegy. I break out in hives whenever Vance says something.
father: how do you spell 'elegy'
me: e-l-e-g-y, but .. are you sure that's the word you're after?
him: of course I'm sure. You sure that's how it's spelled? Looks wrong
me: it was the major focus of my PhD, I am 💯 sure.
him: OK. Well I have SMS'd the restaurant about my friend's seafood elegy.
me: 🤦

I want a loud, long, highly engineered, subwoofer-assisted FUUUUUUCK from Barad Dur as the ring slowly sinks into the lava.
The Lord of The Rings movies were rated PG-13. By current rules that means that each film could contain one use of the word "Fuck". Which line are you altering to insert the most useful swear word?

"I can't carry it for you, but I can Fucking carry you"

Six that I've actually used, three that I've used but not for their intended purposes.
One point each for having used these:

Franklin Stove

Mimeograph Machine

Slide Rule

School desk ink well

Horse and Buggy

Vacuum-tube tester

Hand-cranked telephone

Morse code

Kodak Brownie

Starter Crank
I just have to mention how deeply offended I am by this genre of social media posts.

Yes, you can kindly remove yourself from my lawn.

Used to be, when I was googling for medical info, I’d look for links to trustworthy sources: the CDC or the Mayo Clinic.

Well, here’s hoping that the Mayo Clinic holds the line.
CDC has overhauled its website to assert that “the claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim”

"White dinosaurs on a black background" is a bit unwieldy to used in a name, so I'll go with the coolest interpretation.

Dinosaurs Victoria

If she's pardoned, does that mean she can be required to testify because it's no longer possible for her to incriminate herself?

Guess who didn't bother to register the URL when she did that? What do you think Hot Girls for Cuomo dot com leads to now?... 😄 Enjoy.

A reminder: if you see someone shoplifting food, water, baby formula, diapers, tampons, etc. etc.

NO YOU FUCKING DIDN’T.
Millions going hungry is a national emergency, like hurricanes and earthquakes. Withholding life saving resources during these types of emergencies isn’t just a moral crime, but a legal one.

Why is this not the same? I would simply put out a flyer for a ‘grocery store take over’ party in Barstow.

Here's an idea: stop arguing over which SUSPIRIA is better and watch both. They're interesting films that handle the basic concept (which I won't reveal because fuck spoilers) in different ways. Plus, they both have good soundtracks. So unclench and sit down for a creepy Halloween evening.
Luca Guadagnino’s adaption of SUSPIRIA was released on this day in 2018 #filmsky
