Hundreds of Big Post-Election Donors Have Benefited From Trump’s Return to Office
Well into his second term, the president and his allies have continued aggressively raising money. Many donors have interests before his administration, The Times found.

Wild — as the community note says, Trump’s DOJ released a publicly available pic of MJ & Clinton & Diana Ross with their own kids and implied it’s them with victims

They aren’t just redacting, they’re doctoring

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

Everything they do makes Trump look 10 times more guilty
Looks like they're right.

Data Set 1 / Photo 468, the image from yesterday's Epstein files release that included photos of Trump in a drawer, was removed.

Jack Smith wants to testify in public - Republicans refuse.

He wants his depo tape made public - no again.

The second strike boat video? - nope.

Epstein files law complied with? - not today.

Vote on ACA? - maybe next year.

Funny animal videos no longer being trustworthy just fucking sucks all around. I love the wonder of animal behavior and what it says about the experience of being alive. It's because it happened in reality that it's so fun. It's not fun if it was just made up. There's no wonder there.

Where’s Alaska on protecting our sensitive voter information? Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom is giving it away while running for governor which should be disqualifying. Carpetbagger from TX appointed AG Cox is too busy with culture war lawsuits to stand up for Alaskans. #akleg
Today my law firm filed to intervene to fight DOJ's lawsuits to access confidential voter data in Colorado and Hawaii. We are now fighting to protect our clients' sensitive data in 16 of the 18 cases filed by DOJ (plus Fulton County). I expect we will file in the remaining 2 (DE and MA) this week.

For 20 minutes, Americans watched Donald Trump address the nation, “drenched in pure panic as he tried to bully an entire nation into admitting he’s doing a great job,” @radiofreetom.bsky.social argues:
This Is What Presidential Panic Looks Like
Donald Trump delivered a fear-drenched rant live from the White House.

the USA has a population of 348,109,673, and every day I think about how we managed to select the actual worst one of those people to hold the codes that control the apocalypse
In retrospect, I think it may have been a bad idea to give the nuclear codes to the worst person alive.

Donald Trump abandoned Don Jr when he was a little boy to run off with one of his many mistresses. Don Jr, clearly, now has issues with cocaine.

So, yeah, Laura, stand by Donald Trump by blaming parenting decisions on children having addictions.

This goes without saying, but a properly documented immigrant and a U.S. citizen each have exactly the same right to be working a construction site as the other. The violation of that principle is an abandonment of the idea of America itself.

That admission means ICE is violating federal law under her direction as they ruthlessly assault and deport people with pending asylum cases.

Our experience in Alaska has been great though the Republicans keep trying to overturn it. I would say that ballot design is an area for improvement though because it does come across as complex the way Alaska implemented it.
Also, @raskin.house.gov is pushing this new proposal on ranked choice voting with @welch.senate.gov, who has a companion version in the Senate. Raskin stresses how RCV encourages coalition-building and what he calls "positive politics":
