This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

one takeaway from the grok noncon porn thing is that much of the media just isn't interested in an issue they can't pretend has two sides or that doesn't give them an opportunity to shit on the left. Also it would be uncomfortable to justify remaining on twitter after acknowledging it

In 2026 I want all of the decent people to remember one thing.

You aren’t meant to be this disciplined, this self-sacrificing to survive. The environment is supposed to support good living. We can have that. You are not a failure. That is politics.

That is all.

This man's media team is a bunch of goddamned geniuses, someone scouted for locations and figured out they could set up this very shot. Look at it, it's incredible. Look up pics of Adams being sworn in at the ball drop, which look chaotic, cheap, and undignified in comparison.

As the year comes to an end, may I interest you in my favorite book of 2025? It's @adapalmer.bsky.social's Inventing the Renaissance: press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/bo...

Granted, people can assert that reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula in a dimly-lit café in Prague on a snowy day whilst having multiple cappuccinos and croissants “won’t fix you”, but they’re failing to understand an undeniable truth:

It certainly can’t hurt.

Speaking of egg nog, I have here cut the Kroger store-brand non-alcoholic nog with an equal amount of Coke Zero, because Coke's favor profile actually works with egg nog, and also this way I'm not drinking something with the consistency of glue. It's kind of like an Egg Nog Float, which is not bad.
