ESA's gonna kick NASA's ass.
🔭 The new @esa.int budget secured today is a big deal imho. +30% compared to the current budget with largest chunk going to space transportation ie 🚀. Science/astro is also getting a big bump, which DG Aschbacher called ”the backbone of the ESA programme”. Some funding optimism to close off 2025! 💫🥹
22.1 billion euros subscribed.

And a clear message that Europe is serious about space and that @esa.int is the agency it trusts to deliver.

Spooky… possibly how a society accustomed to expansion broke when their kids couldn’t just move onto unfarmed land next door like their parents had.
Pointed out by my friend @carloshasanax.bsky.social . There's something weird and unsettling about a fairly homogeneous culture spread out across Europe that then collapses into an orgy of genocide.

If I had all the time in the world and more talent I’d do one of there for every character in all my ttrpgs.
I really love a light source and other artist's abilities to make the viewer feel emersed in a time and place. So I'm playing with colors and glow a bit rather than working completely flat. (I still love experimenting, learning and changing)
