Ordered something which unfortunately was sent via Royal Mail and therefore didn't turn up. Contacted the seller, who contacted Royal Mail. Immediately after the seller contacted them, the parcel was marked as delivered with... a photo of some parcels obviously on a desk in the delivery office.

the thing is Trump keeps saying it's about the oil and also he's very stupid and hasn't learned new information since the 80s. so I feel like it can still be about the oil even if it doesn't make sense for it to be about the oil. he does stupid things!
The amount of “this is clearly about oil” posting across all platforms as story after story comes out where the oil industry is saying that the oil isn’t worth extracting is making me feel a little insane

Been revisiting Jilly Cooper's Rutland Chronicles recently and dear god there is no neurotypical explanation for these novels, they're all lengthy current hyperfixations interspersed with her permanent hyperfixation (posh people boning down problematically)

I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't "know" anything actionable. I am equally sure that most of those people know precisely what not to ask and what not to try to find out. Who understand clearly the boundaries of the ignorance they are expected to maintain in order to remain employable.
Remember how literally everybody knew all about Jimmy Saville but nobody said it until he died? Remember that?
