Yes, bringing back Ben Solo would be cool and all, but it would somehow retroactively make ROS even worse. One of ROS' worst things was killing characters, then revealing them to not actually be dead. They actually already do this to Ben once in that film, retroactively making it twice...

Again, the man who’s next in line for the presidency after this walking corpse has said he’s deeply influenced by this outright Nazi, so maybe we could get a little more attention on that?
Curtis Yarvin, JD Vance’s friend & ideological influence, ended 2025 by claiming “only Hitler spoke the truth” about “too many subjects” & “Hitler was a genius.”

Extremism isn’t fringe on the right. Once marginal online extremists like Yarvin are influential at the highest levels of government.

uhhh yeah I can see why these childcare properties weren't eager to let in some rando dudes asking "where are the kids?"

AI gave the cops Animorphs' powers and people have the audacity to complain?
About 18 seconds into this news story the reporter says the police AI report writing software erroneously wrote that someone turned into a frog. Yet this is the headline they’re going with.

She has the microphone.
She has immunity.

If her concern were really about the victims, names in The Epstein Files would be said out loud — on the House floor.

Silence isn’t caution.

It’s a choice.

And lo, a vote for Newsom was a vote for fascism, for he spent his time and political will defending fascists.
By the way, Gavin Newsom is apparently raising money to fight AGAINST the billionaire tax. So thoughtful of him to come to their aid at this particular time in history,

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

Look, its only illegal immigrants who aren't welcome. Legal immigrants are welcome to come and be harassed for looking any color but white, be forced to carry their papers at all times under threat of being disappeared, and maybe be disappeared anyway

Welcome I say

Why aren't they coming anymore?

See, I don't want fully open, free-for all borders, but as a country we've shown we aren't responsible enough to close them even a little bit. We're the kid who used his first taste of freedom to steal beer and cigarettes, get drunk, then "borrow" and crash the family car.

All of the money that changed hands in the Teapot Dome scandal totaled less than $10 million after adjusting for inflation, and it was considered so corrupt we still teach it in high school government classes a century later.
Corruption so pungent, it wafts right off the page:

Lobbyists who do pardon deals “say their going rate is $1 million. Pardon-seekers have offered some lobbyists close to the president success fees of as much as $6 million if they can close the deal.”
