Trump spent $40B bailing out Argentina.
USAID *had* a budget of $30-35 Billion prior to the Trump administration eliminating them.

This does not even come close to the level of aid that we were providing to those who were starving and in desperate need around the world.
The U.S. has pledged $2 billion in humanitarian aid to the United Nations as part of a deal that will also overhaul how the U.S. funds foreign aid work going forward. https://to.pbs.org/3YS2q7C

I feel reassured
Q: China is doing naval exercises to encircle Taiwan

TRUMP: I have a great relationship with President Xi and I don't believe he's gonna be doing it

Q: Does it worry you?

TRUMP: No. Nothing worries me.

One widespread narrative from earlier this year that was proven almost hilariously incorrect: US capital flight. The 6 months ended October saw the largest foreign inflows to US financial markets in history, mostly thanks to record equity net buys of $532bn, with over $200bn UST purchases too.

Every single time Trump has a meeting with Zelensky, Putin calls Trump the day before and Trump’s position in the Zelensky meeting then mirrors the Russian position. The talking points are the same, with all the same lies. It’s a simple playbook for Putin and it works every time.

Trump sympathizes with how stressful it would be for Putin to have to stop killing people for a while because of how inconvenient it would be for him to resume it. This whole thing is a farce. A charade. Putin is playing Trump like the useful idiot that he is.

This and Zelensky’s facial expression and body language tells us everything we need to know about where this is.

More state-sponsored capitalism. This time, the government dictates capital return.
Trump: "We're also going to be talking about buybacks. They spend so much money on buybacks. They want to buy back their stock. I don't want them to buy back their stock. I want them to put the money in plant and equipment so they can build these planes fast, rapidly, like, immediately."

It’s impossible to overstate how much conspiracism drives the Trump regime’s agenda.

Here Tulsi Gabbard, the head of ODNI, claims that “NATO and the EU really want…to pull the United States military directly into war with Russia.”

Which is a Russian talking point, spread by conspiracy sites.

So, you ask, if they can’t just do a simple thing like release the files as the law requires, how can we trust them to do hard things like run the economy and keep us safe?

The answer, of course, is that we can’t. We can never trust they can and will do the right thing.
Lawless shambolic shitshow.
WASHINGTON (AP) — At least 16 files from Epstein release disappeared from DOJ webpage, including photo of Trump, with no explanation.

I want to raise a few issues with this ...

- The unemployment rate was 4.6% in Nov 2025.

- There are 982,000 more unemployed people in Nov 2025 than in Jan 2025.

- There are 271,000 fewer federal government employees.

- 982,000 > 271,000. More than 3 times more unemployed.
