sometimes i see fanfic writing tips, which i appreciate as they can be very helpful. but my tip is just become an unhinged level of obsessed with a media source and let something overtake you for a few hours. it works every time!

Most of us turned to a song, or a book, or a show today, at some point. It's easy to take that for granted and scorn anybody else for doing what you did without thinking. The humanities buoy the psyche.
Go ahead and share your stuff. An artist's insurance bill doesn't get paused for tragedy.
