Had a casual conversation with my congressman tonight and my main takeaway is that there is no desire in the party to be putting up real fights in the short term. Voters should react accordingly.

I've never seen such universal disgust for Dem leadership. I think a lot of them are going to be genuinely surprised at what happens to them in the primaries next year.
