It rocks to tell people their shit rocks. Every single person who has ever been nice about my work has been appreciated for doing so. I take time to say I love stuff and it’s always the right time to remind somebody you value their work! You don’t need to get into detail either. Just say it rocks
I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

There's a kid in my neighborhood who is always running. Yesterday I saw him stop, pull out a tiny bound notebook, open to the center and quickly scan the contents with a look of deep contemplation. He tapped the page with the back of his hand, said "Yes. Become stronger," and broke back into a run

・クィア（LGBTQに限定せず性的マイノリティ全体を指す言葉）の物語であるが、恋愛物語として描いていない。
・恋愛ではないクィアの物語があっても良いと考えている。恋愛をしないor出来ないというのも大切な要素である。
・"普通"になれない恐怖や居場所がない恐怖がテーマである。
・作品は基本的に"青春ホラー"として宣伝しているが、上記をふまえてどう捉えるかは人の自由だと思っている。

Something I realized is that LLMs just put in our face how many people don’t actually want to do the work of being human. And it’s nothing new, just the quirk of LLMs actually allow us to see it.
There’s a reason why columnist, react content, radio host, etc exist.

I do firmly believe that refusing to outsource your basic cognitive functions to LLMs right now - as so many are stumbling over themselves to do right now, like hogs trotting to a pile of slop that’s been set up inside of a butcher’s delivery truck - will very much pay off in a few years.

今のところ人類史上において「王様のいないこと」を積極的に選んで自らを律してこれた国はとても少なくて、アメリカはなんだかんだでそのロールモデルだったわけ。この「王様のいない」というのはある意味で喪失感との戦いで、その喪失感は独裁者という王様の代わりを求めてしまいがち。人類はまだ古代の思想から抜け出せてはおらず、王の王の血筋による王朝に安心感を得るものなのかもしれないなと思ったりする。王も独裁者もいない国でもたまに王を求める人達による擬似的な王権が発動してしまったりするし、それを民主的かつ自力で民主主義に持ち直させることができた国も本当に少ない。まぁ、隣の国はそれなんだけど。

i know it's just advertisement but it still pisses me off when tech CEOs claim AGI will solve humanity's problems with its vast intelligence. for a lot of problems we already know the solutions, what prevents them being solved is not a lack of intelligence, but that the solutions are unprofitable

フードバンクやこども食堂のボランティアの人たちの善意は素晴らしいが、ボランティアにタダノリする行政は邪悪だって話、丁寧に話さないとほんと伝わらないんだよね。
災害ボランティアとかもそうで、ボランティアを前提に行政が災害対策を考えるなって話と、現場にボランティアが必要だって話と、行政がボランティアとちゃんとコミュニケーションを取るコストも含めて「ボランティアに頼らない」体制を作る必要があるよ、って話は、全部大事なんだが、お金で解決しろ」とか雑に括られたりするんだよねー。
