Trumpists do not believe that people who disagree with them are entitled to a voice in government.

“Sorry your Honor, I reasonably doubt that either me or my fellow jurors or any relevant witnesses have ever seen this woman in my life.”
KMBC: "A woman tried to set a fire at a South Kansas City warehouse that had been rumored as a possible ICE detention center. Earlier today, the company that owns the property confirmed it is no longer moving forward with a sale to the U.S. government."

Chadwick Boseman and James van der Beek both died in their 40s of an illness that's treatable if a colonoscopy catches it but almost no insurer covers them for people under 45, this is what Engels meant by "social murder"

Too many people underestimate how evil Google is and how impactful its evil is. Yeah, the company that struck down its "don't be evil" maxim a while ago, because I guess it felt too constraining.
At Google, speech critical of ICE is censored from the company's internal platform, employees who speak out are served with warnings, and leadership refuses to acknowledge a petition that's now gotten 1,200 employee signatures.

Inside the worker-led push to get ICE out of Google:
Google is stifling anti-ICE speech in the workplace as 1,200 employees call on the company to cut ties
The search giant has made it harder and riskier to protest its policies. Workers are still fighting back. Plus: A community takes down a data center, QuitGPT, and the 5 worst Super Bowl AI ads.

The idea that people have a single, unchanging, “real” “legal” name is a very recent invention.

In Massachusetts, it was settled law that your name was what you called yourself, and what you were known by, and that was fine (so long as it was not fraudulent).
Baffled by transphobes insisting that the name on your birth certificate is Your True Name Forever when it was common in my grandparents' generation to just...pick a name you like and use that, nbd. I literally found out both of my grandma's birth certificate first names FROM THEIR OBITUARIES.

At this point, if Jeff Bezos has ever hired you for any kind of job, that's just got to be a dagger to your sense of self-worth.

"Am I a fuckup too? Am I ... Will Lewis bad? The guy who killed Tumblr bad?"
Will Lewis is resigning as WaPo CEO, former Tumblr CEO Jeff D’Onofrio is the paper’s new acting CEO and publisher, per memos to staff

Will Lewis’s exit is long overdue. His legacy will be the attempted destruction of a great American journalism institution. But it's not too late to save The Post. Jeff Bezos must immediately rescind these layoffs or sell the paper to someone willing to invest in its future.

ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

Democrats just literally won multiple key elections over the weekend.

that doesn't mean all is well, but it makes questions like this just seem really disconnected from what's happening. 1
Why do you people just conveniently forget the events of January 6th 2021 and think those responsible for it will respect any further US elections? Explain yourself.
