This map exposes the Greenland lie.

The US used to have a massive military footprint here.

Today, they operate just ONE base.

If Trump were actually worried about Russian vessels, he would simply open more bases, which Denmark allows

The actual story is that a family of American citizens trying to evacuate from a neighborhood that ICE had made unsafe, and then ICE tossed munitions into the car, causing three kids to be hospitalized and a six month old to stop breathing. DHS called the family “radical agitators”

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.

You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"

There’s a big story everyone is missing—but this article hits on it.

We aren’t just seeing public health dismantled bc we’ve been taken over by conspiracy theorists and lunatics.

What we’re really seeing is the giant, predatory, underegulated wellness industry come to Washington.

Fantastic piece and good quote from @marisakabas.bsky.social: “Being independent is a form of resistance in that it’s going up against the old ways of practicing journalism,” she said. “I feel like I have more latitude to come at systems of power, because I’m not answering to anyone.”

Yup. The buck stops somewhere. Telling all, being accountable, is part of the job.
At this point, the reporters should just collectively tell the HHS senior officials, “Fuck off.”

End the press call right there.

This is not a matter of national security. Their jobs are not in danger. They are representing an official government policy. One that affects every single American.
RFK Jr's HHS had a press call to announce they were — based on no new data — overhauling the childhood vaccine schedule. Senior officials at HHS answered questions but refused to go on the record, saying we could only attribute the quotes to "officials." www.washingtonpost.com/health/2026/...

I'm curious how Rep. Chuck Edwards and staff will handle this punch to their priorities.
One last fucked up 2025 scoop—FEMA has begun issuing termination notices to CORE staff (appointed under the Stafford Act, ordinarily extended for 2 years) effective Jan 2, agency sources tell me. Sr leadership was asked if they could be given more notice but Acting Administrator Karen Evans said no.

I'm gonna put in my will that no one gets to do this on my grave after I die.
Article reveals a cursed further detail: Vanilla Ice was performing live at Mar-a-Lago for this party. It wasn't that an intern threw this song on as a joke; someone went through the trouble of tracking down and hiring Mr. Ice to create this exact spasm of cruelty.

Recall that Trump/Miller have refused to deport Abrego Garcia to Costa Rica even though he's signaled acceptance of that. They must deport him to the country of *their* choice because otherwise it won't look dehumanizing and cruel enough. This is abominable conduct.

I hope U.S. Corporations have sovereignty endorsement clearly marked on their passports.
The regime’s position is that wherever an American corporation exists and operates is necessarily under the jurisdiction of the United States. Even when inside another country, a restriction on an American corporation is a restriction on American sovereignty.
The State Department has just banned five Europeans from entering the U.S., falsely alleging they are involved in censorship of American citizens.

The only censorship here is coming from the Trump administration. My statement is below.

Since the Internet Archive has popped back into relevance tonight, just an FYI: It's one of a handful of tech nonprofits that have low-key become super important *in general* over the years, and perhaps especially this year.
I feel like there’s a story to be done on the under-recognized importance of tech nonprofits to modern journalism.

E.g.:

• Signal
• RECAP/Courtlistener
• Internet Archive/Wayback Machine
• Wikipedia/Wikimedia

See also: nonprofit outlets like AP, ProPublica, and RNS, obvi.
