As we see so regularly , it is always the teenage girls fault , mix that with political cowardice that is driven by “but what will the Daily Mail say if we do something humane” and we have a system desperate to appease the worst of us, and to utterly ignore those who dare to empathise
A vulnerable child was groomed and trafficked and then subjected to the most shocking experiences imaginable including the deaths of her babies.

Instead of taking responsibility the British establishment stripped her of her citizenship and dumped her like old rubbish.

Yes. We're spending £476m on the militarisation of Calais - where babies are being tear gassed.

The fact people are hearing this for the first time is exactly why I made it the subject of the Christmas Day message.

We could be spending that money instead on a fair and managed migration system.
The UK government is spending £476m tear-gassing babies?

Someone needs to get real if they're to be taken seriously.
The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.

At least 20,179 children have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, according to the UN's latest reports.

Children should be playing, learning & laughing - not part of a casualty list.

They've been forced to grow up in unrelenting violence & suffering during Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Any attack targeted at people just because they are Jewish is as barbaric and evil as any attack on people just because they are Palestinian, or whatever other nationality. I will not accept any justification or relativization for this horrifying act of antisemitism in my mentions. Evil, period.

The sheer contempt these people have for anyone that they deem unworthy is incredible. Switching to a font that is more legible for people with visual disabilities is a "wasteful diversity move"? Wasteful how?
Allowing disabled people to exist is deserving of scorn to these scumbags.

If you started siding with the right and being wary of the left because some leftists were cunts to you on social media you were never particularly left-wing to start with. I've had mad leftists and woke scolds say insane stuff about me and to me and it never made me hate centrists any less, bitch.

Human rights were built for hard times, not rewrites when it suits the Government.

Pushing to water down the European Convention on Human Rights on International Human Rights Day is a moral retreat, not a solution.

It's very telling how "trans people" became "Trans activists" and now they're knocking at the next door "People with ADHD" have become "ADHD activists".
then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

Trans erasure is rooted in virulent misogyny, full stop. The TERFs can pretend that they're the true feminists and they're trying to protect women from violence all they like, it's a lie. Anti-trans legislation makes ALL women less safe and is a betrayal of everything feminists have fought for.
With so much abuse from cis men still covered up , with so much misogyny rife , with anti trans activists starting to turn towards abortion rights - well done to all the bigots who decided relentless abuse of trans kids was the solution #translives

Read about the Nazis that they kept on Spandau. They were huge jokes, spent all their time bickering about whose fault it was they lost the war and fighting about who got to use the best broom to sweep with.

At its core, fascism is just a bunch of losers who get enough losers to support them.

I keep thinking about the Raymond Williams line: "To be truly radical is to make hope possible rather than despair convincing".

Hope is not easy. Despair seems obvious. But every howl of despair manifests as further malignance. Compliance with fascism is despair metastasising.
