They don’t understand metaphor, period.

They don’t understand The Matrix. They don’t understand Fight Club. They think Holden Caulfied was spoiled and whiny and experienced no hardship. They read the Bible and think they’re the good guys.

This is in no way specific to The Lord of the Rings.

#ReformUK is sending it's campaign flyers in addressed envelopes, because they know Scottish people will bin their leaflets faster than they do an Edinburgh Fringe flyer.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

And Tiny Tim, who DID NOT die, took the stolen money and left the dead bodies of Mr Blonde, Mr White, Mr Orange, Joe Cabot and Nice Guy Eddie in the warehouse for the police to find.

Not many things in life will have you pumping your fist in the air, but watching little Tommy Robinson’s (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon’s) face and bravado drop when he gets called out for his racism and hypocrisy by boxer Ty Mitchell is one of them.

This is glorious. 🔥

This is a photo from the Vanity Fair article. Notice how they have to arrange it so Stephen Miller is on the end, so it isn’t obvious that there is no reflection of him on the mirrored table.🧛

Rob Reiner directed some of the most beloved movies of all time, including Stand By Me, This is Spinal Tap, and The Princess Bride. His production company also made movies like The Shawshank Redemption, Before Sunrise and Michael Clayton. The film industry has lost one of its titans.

This is Charles Clyde Ebbets, the photographer who took the iconic “Lunch atop a Skyscraper” picture. Look at this fearless, dapper fuck wearing spats, suspenders, and a tie 850 feet above the ground. Absolute legend.
Here he is taking the photo.
