Guns drawn. Windows smashed. With a 1 month old in the car. (They did this as he was coming home from an immigration court appointment— which is illegal in Colorado: coloradosun.com/2025/10/01/i...)

Love to have a president who teases a war like it’s a very special episode of Love Island.
Trump denies that he’s going back to Washington to work on a ceasefire, but doesn’t explain what he’s actually going back for.

“[Emmanuel Macron] has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that.”

One of the reasons authoritarian takeovers in former colonizwd countries were so violent and resulted in genocides is because the military who often led the coups and took over the country were trained by colonial powers to attack their own people.

This is a process.

This is Winston Churchill visiting Washington DC to request assistance in the war against Germany. Notice he is wearing a "zip suit" and not a traditional suit. This was to honor the British troops--the same reason Zelensky dresses the way he does.

Serious North Korean s****.

The US Attorneys are not the presidents' lawyers. And they should not be "standing against entities... that refuse to put America first" as the President defines it.

They are defenders of the Constitution and the laws of this country. What a perversion of justice.
The U.S. attorney in Washington says DOJ "will be vigilant in standing against entities" like the Associated Press, that "refuse to put America first."

The AP's transgression is, apparently, not adopting the president's preferred name for the Gulf of Mexico.

I think it would better, instead of adopting the MAGA framing, to call out specifically what they are saying. They are not blaming “DEI.” They are blaming Blacks, other minorities, women, and people with disabilities. It’s called scapegoating.

The federal freeze on grant funding is looking very, very bad in Atlanta. Georgia relies on federal funding for essentially *all* of its spending on housing support, and most of its spending on homelessness, mental heath and substance abuse treatment.

Providers are locked out of their accounts.

Rev. Budde did what a preacher ought to do. She did not personally attack Trump in any way. She used scripture to bring conviction to his heart. Her message was essentially a paraphrase of Micah 6:8, which is pinned in my bio. Trump has evil in his heart. Evil cannot stand the light of God’s love.
