My best friend in HS came out as trans our Senior year. This was in the early 2000's. I was naive and told him the name he chose was lame because it wasn't the logically 'male' version of his birth name. He didn't talk to me for a month. I've been doing everything to make up for it ever since.

I have a visceral reaction to several songs, one being Total Eclipse of the Heart. Besides just being hell to my ears it always brings me back to a middle school DARE assembly that featured a hamfisted interpretive dance to it.
Fuck your favourite song. Tell me your least favourite song. The one that makes you die inside the moment you hear the first 3 seconds.
