Mostly I've just been stunned by the eagerness with which the media environment has torched the remnants of its own credibility out of lust for Trump. Like, he's gonna be gone and they're gonna have only wreckage to show for all their worship.

Worth pointing out that the only reason news media isnt absolutely savaging this admin for needlessly putting NG in harms way as part of a political stunt is bc its Trump & the idea he should be held responsible for tragedies like these that downstream from his bad choices is still anathema to them

i also liked the fact that most of us who had come from the other site had the mentality of not giving "bad actors" the benefit of the doubt on here , and told all to block, not mute, an move on

The context to this about this ugly racism from Stephen Miller through is that they thought that Charlie Kirk would change everything for them and were furious when it didnt and they already know that this tragic shooting wont move the needle for them & are even more pissed at that.

Watching Stranger Things because, well, sunk cost and all that, only I'm only just now realizing that I'm watching the finale from the last season and not the new stuff because of autoplay wonkiness. Doesn't say great things about the show's staying power that it took me 25 minutes to realize this.
