11/ Denmark’s schedule reflects Denmark’s epidemiology, housing density, healthcare access, and outbreak history. Ours reflects ours. Pointing to another country’s shorter list without grappling with U.S. disease burden and downstream costs isn’t is ideological cherry-picking.

In the article, Dr. Berner is worried about the anti-vax trend seeping into Germany… RFK Jr. protested Covid mitigations in Berlin in 2020. It’s already happened and is happening, other countries need to get ahead of any further damage (like the US is experiencing) while they still can
I don't want to support NYT but this is a free article, I don't have a subscription anyway, and this is well-written about how bonkers the childhood vaccine recommendations are getting:

It’s nice to see the bad guys lose once a while. Kinda gives me hope that we can maybe do it on more public levels.

Denmark’s vaccine schedule is the most minimalist in the developed world. So why is HHS trying to adopt it?

My new piece in @statnews.com.

Why Denmark's vaccine schedule works for Denmark — but not for the United States
With its vaccine schedule, “Denmark has made a values choice to accept preventable hospitalizations and illnesses that other countries have chosen to prevent.”

This is not always a red state/blue state issue. Republicans control everything in Ohio and the appointed state health director came out 5 days ago to remind us that the birth dose of Hep B should continue.

I would have preferred a clean press release but this will have to suffice.

End childhood vaccines + villainize infant formula + stop SIDS prevention programs + dismantle maternal health programs = booming business for tiny coffin makers.
