I once saw a documentary claim that sloths spends 80% of their lives upside down, which just makes me think we're wrong about which is the upside of a sloth.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

I still definitely don't think I'm trans. But I'd like everyone I've ever met to tell me I look nice presenting female. And it's just a social thing I'm doing. Obs I'm not female, but I've achieved "good look as girl" even so.

Massively upsetting obsessive mental images I'm currently living with - hanging by a rope noose but with my right hand trapped in the noose against my neck, no clue why. Vs, a stanley knife (razor blade knife) wrapped within the noose knot when they hang me. And maybe that's a kindness.

The Labour Party is literally in government right now. They have a clear majority and could legislate to ensure trans folks are treated according to their gender, and ensure equality law does not fix people to their sex assigned at birth. The Labour Party is literally in government right now. They have a clear majority and could legislate to ensure trans folks are treated according to their gender, and ensure equality law does not fix people to their sex assigned at birth. They actively choose not to — it’s institutional transphobia.
Pretty on board with "Mr Beast is the antichrist" as a vibe. I don't believe in gods and monsters at all, but still, feels true.

I think this every time someone discusses what the US are doing as "possible war crime?" They're not at war, so no, not a war crime. Just a normal, everyday crime.
The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

Laws aren't real. They exist solely on account of buy-in from society's participants. Once one side disengages, you no longer reside in a society based on laws. You live in a society based on power and armed force. I am begging folks to accept this so we can get moving.
