Everyone knows about Ahmed al-Ahmad, the Syrian Muslim migrant who took down one gunman. Another man, a Middle Eastern refugee, ran into a firefight and kicked the gun away from the other gunman. Police shot him, and bystanders kicked him in the head while he was down, thinking he was the terrorist.

Primary them all and block anybody who comes with the “at this crucial juncture the most important thing is that we win.” if they believed that they wouldn’t do this and with friends like them nobody needs enemies
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

This guy gets it and also it looks like he has some deals?
no audio people are still the stupidest i forgot. at least all the cameras take pictures but people will tell you you need to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on audiophile cables that in fact do literally nothing. but second to them, it's camera people
i think out of all the stupid hobby pages on reddit, the digital camera people are the stupidest. any time they see a picture they like they're in a cold sweat wondering if they need to spend $10k to swap camera sytems. jesus fucking christ chill out. it's the WORLD that looks good

"His early films, all spick and span
Were stories of the Common Man
By mid career, oh lordy lordy
His films became a little bawdy
Then at the end, in horrid scenes,
We met the nasty libertines!"
Very good “you might also like” on a book of Pasolini’s poetry.

something i simply want to add here for my own thinking, a bit of this earlier thread about posting on social media. lest you think this is a "harsh" way to view the random public, please know the design of social media is to make us all the drunk guy, including me bsky.app/profile/ztul...
the weirdness of modern social media is how i am simultaneously always addressing nobody in particular here (such as with this thread) and, from the perspective of other users reading me, being taken within the context of conversations of which I'm personally ignorant or don't care to address

‘We’ve got birds too. Or are you making fun of me?’

‘A little. I knew you had birds.’

90 FUCKING PERCENT

i’d love for cis folks to remember what the nyt, atlantic, guardian, daily mail, times of london, ny post, cnn, wall street journal, & economist took from your transgender neighbors & loved ones before the next time you consider giving them money or listening to a word they say.
It’s almost like when you don’t have a rabidly trans-hostile media ecosystem, people generally support human rights.
