It's so hard to listen to a podcast you like and hear them lean hard on something that feels factually incorrect. David McWilliam saying no TDs come from the tech sector, yet didn't Eoin Hayes have that whole Palantir debacle this time last year?

To the people saying it’s undemocratic that their preferred candidate didn’t get a nomination for president: local and national elections are and always have been an option for them. And arguably more effective than the role of president when it comes to deciding policy and affecting daily lives.

First practice with Irish trad musicians. Blown away by how good they are at just playing by ear and picking up tunes. And quietly confident with how ok anything sounds on the guitar in DADGAD tuning... not great, but ok to the point where nobody stopped and said "What the fuck, like?" 😌 #learning

Tonight I'm mostly learning how to accompany Irish trad music on guitar, mostly. I've tuned to DADGAD. It's a very different beast but it's quite fun knowing it's mostly a rhythm gig 😊
