What's the best service for deleting *all* your old tweets these days? I don't want to delete my old Twitter and let a bad actor grab the handle, but I really do need to get around to wiping the contents of the account

Was just thinking that Gone With the Wind will be public domain in 6 years.

Considering the tantrum the Mitchell estate threw about The Wind Done Gone, I think you all know what to do with that information.

Sure. No one 'deserves' cancer. Cancer is a shitshow. Fuck cancer.

But I give zero shits about this asshole.

And the world will be a better place without him, which is a shame.

A street scene from the '90s (see Alt txt for more info). This detailed watercolour drawing of mine from >30 yrs ago of King's Parade, #Cambridge was completed on the spot in about 3 hours. I was sitting on a metal box that controlled the rising bollards. Sold ages ago. #watercolour #enpleinair

This would be even more maddening than the last time, because we ran this experiment in 2020 with Biden and Merrick Garland, who prioritized restraint. The result was Trump 2.0. We know, for certain, from very recent memory, that this doesn't work.
No but really my fear is that the next democrat in the White House will be conciliatory and deliberate when what we need is a chainsaw and some sage.
Need this energy when Trump leaves office. Take a fucking bulldozer to his bribe ballroom and rip his name off the Kennedy Center and whatever else he slaps his name on.

notice how nobody is taking responsibility.

this is a chat bot apologising and not a human being.

this is why government's want chatbots in fields like healthcare. you can't sue a chatbot. you can't put a chatbot on trial.
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

But look on the bright side — after the AI industry that doesn’t make any money bursts, the consumer market also won’t be making any money because everyone is priced out of it.

Good job, tech industry.
Silicon Valley isn’t just polluting our cultural and information systems with AI slop and destroying the environment in the process.

They’re also poised to force consumer electronics to shoot up in price because they’re buying up so much hardware for data centers.
Chip shortages threaten 20% rise in consumer electronics prices
Manufacturers and analysts warn AI data centre build-out is crowding out market for semiconductors

Lexi Alexander is the sort of person Bluesky would never have dared to ban ... if she weren't Palestinian, a nationality which the world treats as free license to subject its members to anything whatsoever
@aaron.bsky.team, bring Lexi back and stop suspending Palestinians on the basis of their nationality and who they are. It's hateful, discriminatory and morally repugnant what you & the others are doing to Palestinians on Bluesky. Not even past coverage on your website's conduct brings shame, right.
So @lexialex.bsky.social filed this appeal but is only getting automated replies @support.bsky.team very disappointed given
@aaron.bsky.team also lives in Ireland. Have they not taught you anything about solidarity with Palestine?
