Russia laundering its Ukraine "wish list" through Axios and getting the Trump regime to claim it as a "U.S. peace plan" should have been on all of our bingo cards.

Better yet: books.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Yeah, did this once and even the students who used AI didn't fall for it. (Mine was that outputs should use the words 'Stylesheet' and 'Frankenstein' in their essays on medieval drama.

The prompt becomes visible when pasted, and in accessibility readers, and only catches those who copy-and-paste.
To “my students and to anyone who might listen, I say: Don’t surrender to AI your ability to read, write and think when others once risked their lives and died for the freedom to do so.”

China's electrification transition is dramatic, and leaving us in the dust.

So much for LNG-powered trucks! China and soon India are leapfrogging to the new. And our leaders pushing LNG and retreating on ZEVs look sad & vision-less in comparison.

China's diesel trucks shift to electric. This could change global LNG and diesel demand.
China is replacing its diesel trucks with electric models faster than expected, potentially reshaping global fuel demand and the future of heavy transport.

Musk has apparently manipulated Grok so much that it says he's a better athlete than LeBron James and a funnier comedian than Jerry Seinfeld.

Imagine being so insecure you need to program an LLM to boost you like that.

Democratic messaging to our military about killing civilians extrajudicially is too polite. Soliders, sailors and Marines need fair warning that at a future point, a restored military judicial process will review these slayings, and those executing an unlawful order will be subject to that process.
