We also stripped funding from nutrition and health programs so that the regime could better fund its kidnapping squad
Our government’s priorities are entirely backward. And purposefully so.

The Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center has been canceled. The show’s host, musician Chuck Redd, said, “When I saw the name change on the Kennedy Center website and later on the building, I chose to cancel our concert.”

"It's A Wonderful Life" isn't just a feel-good holiday classic (and my favorite movie of all time).

It's also a warning about what happens when greed runs the economy.

Two of the four signers of this letter to CBS News staff — Weiss and Rubenstein — are conservative oped writers who have done little, if any, actual news reporting in their careers.

It’d be like having a sophomore biology major telling a cardiologist how to do a heart transplant.

Pope Leo XIV said he feels "great sadness" that Russia did not agree to a Christmas ceasefire and once again called for 24 hours of peace.

"I make this appeal to all people of goodwill to observe, at least on the feast of the birth of the Savior, a day of peace," he said

I see no reason that @colbertlateshow.bsky.social shouldn't work with Sharyn Alfonsi from 60 Minutes and air her unredacted and unedited story on the El Salvadorian prison, on The Late Show one night.

Bari Weiss has no say over Colbert, and Colbert isn't being renewed anyway.

Stephen, do it!

Bari Weiss is single-handedly dismantling CBS, and— what’s worse— she’ll absolutely never pay any price for doing so.
Sharyn Alfonsi is an award-winning journalist who has worked for 60 Minutes for 20 years. Before that she reported for ABC, CBS & local news outlets. If Alfonsi says her story was spiked by Bari Weiss political reasons, that’s exactly what happened. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/21/b...

Trump hss dishonored and diminished the A Kennedy Center, just like he does all our institutions.
Trump did not strengthen the arts or the Kennedy Center. He repeatedly sought to eliminate federal arts funding, politicized the Kennedy Center Honors, and fostered an environment that chilled artistic expression. Claims that he “saved” or rebuilt the Kennedy Center are demonstrably false.

The Kennedy Center was created by an Act of Congress. I have heard from a reliable source that it is illegal for the board, and anyone else involved, to rename it.

Only Congress can do that.
And Congress should make sure that lawbreakers face consequences.

It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).
